November 10 and 11, 2007 Bahrain joined Tachikawa Autumn Festival

The Embassy of Bahrain joined the festival for two days at the international booth street hosted by Tachikawa Multicultural Center.

Unfortunately, the weather was rainy and chilly for both days. And yet, the Bahrain booth offered the specialties and souvenirs from Bahrain as well as the exhibition of Arabic calligraphy. The calligraphers received requests from visitors and wrote down their names in Arabic calligraphy on beautiful papers.

One of the most established national newspaper Asahi Shimbun reported the scene and published an article on the Bahraini booth on Sunday local section with a photo.
