April 12th 2013 : The Cherry Blossom Charity Ball

Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the International Ladies Benevolent Society (ILBS), the Cherry Blossom Charity Ball was held in Tokyo on April 12, 2013 followed by a dinner. ILBS consists of Ambassadors’ wives in Japan. H.E. Dr. Khalil Hassan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Japan, attended this event.
Their Imperial Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan also attended and led the ball. It was the first time in 20 years for Their Imperial Majesties to have performed their dance in public.
