March 23, 2010 International Symposium on Influenza Pandemics in Asia Held

International Symposium on Influenza Pandemics in Asia was held at Hotel New Otani organized by the Sasakawa Peace Foundation and Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine.
Dr. Khalil attended the symposium to share experiences and difficulties that Asian countries have faced since the outbreak of Influenza A (H1N1), and discuss lessons learned and possible avenues of future action from multidisciplinary and global perspectives including economics, science, technology and security.
