July 15, 2010 Symposium on Human Security Held

Symposium on Human Security, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Japan and Waseda University, was held at Waseda University.

Ms. Chinami Nishimura , Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs and Mr. Katsuichi Uchida, Vice President of Waseda University participated as speakers. Mr. Ban Ki Moon , Secretary General of the United Nations gave a video message in the opening remarks, and Mr. Amr Mousa, Secretary General of the Arab League Gave a written speech.

From the Embassy, Mr. Ahmed Al-Teraifi, Third Secretary, joined the symposium to discuss and communicate with the different views of the people of jurisdiction over human security concept.
